a series exploring medieval archetypes through the figure of a conqueror.
Fascinated by medieval aesthetics and the symbols they carry, I wanted to question the place of feminine figures in Art History. All too often relegated to passive or idealized roles, they bear witness to a gendered and unequal vision. Through this series, I sought to blur these boundaries and imagine a hybrid figure, neither king nor queen, but a free incarnation of power.

Pierrot & la lune —

« Pierrot & la lune » is a fashion editorial inspired by the myth of Pierrot, the melancholic figure. The series revisits the popular nursery rhyme through a dreamlike and sensitive aesthetic.
In this interpretation, Pierrot becomes the mirror of the artist: a fragile dreamer longing to be heard, addressing the moon as a confidant and silent double. Hovering between innocence and disillusionment, they seek to write the world with tenderness. I envisioned this series as a visual poem:
« Oh clair de la lune,
C’est ton ami.e Pierrot,
Prête-moi ta plume
Pour écrire un mot.
Ma chandelle est morte,
Je n'ai plus de feu ;
Ouvre-moi ta porte,
Pour l'amour des cieux.»
